The Columbia Icefield Discovery Centre is located near the Athabasca Glacier in the Canadian Rockies. The centre is open from May to October, with admission fees ranging from $39.95 to $109.95 CAD, depending on the activities chosen.

Visitors can take a guided tour onto the glacier, ride the Ice Explorer vehicle, or explore the interpretive exhibits and displays at the centre. The guided glacier tours operate from 9am to 4pm daily, while the Ice Explorer tours run from 9am to 5pm.

In addition to the glacier, there are several other attractions in the area worth visiting. The nearby Jasper National Park offers stunning hiking trails, lakes, and waterfalls, while the Banff National Park is home to the famous Lake Louise and the picturesque town of Banff.
